Our Approach to Professional Interior Painting
Our highly skilled crews are key to having the best possible finished product for your home or business. Nearly anyone can paint but experience and skill are most important to ensure all surface preparation and painting steps are followed.
Our Residential Interior Process
Our highly experienced crews will follow the below outline when starting your project. The most important thing to ensure satisfaction with your new paint job is to have open communication with our crew and clear expectations up front on what you would like to see. Dave and his crew will work hard to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Set-up
Upon arrival to your project our Team Foreman will want to find out a convenient place to use as a work station during the day. Tools, equipment and paint are placed in the agreed upon area on top of canvas tarps and plastic sheeting. All floors are protected with drop cloths. Furniture is draped with plastic sheeting.
Surface & Room Preparation
As soon as the crew is set up they will begin to organize the room. This step is essential and requires that we:- Move any furniture outside or to the middle of the room
- Remove all switch plates & tape plugs
- Remove window coverings
- Tape off appropriate areas
After the room has been organized Based on your requests, holes and cracks in ceilings and walls are filled; stains are sealed. and surfaces are scuff sanded with 80-120 grit sand paper to remove walls of surface debris.
Paint
After the walls are properly repaired and sanded our team goes to work to apply 1-2 coats to all areas to be painted. We only apply the highest quality paints for a uniform & durable finish. We have excellent pricing and knowledge of all major product lines Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore are used on nearly every job. After the walls are allowed to dry we do a preliminary inspection of the project and transition to the clean up.
Clean Up
Furniture and accessories are moved back to their desired locations. Floors and carpets are vacuumed and swept. All of our materials are removed. Then we would ask to do a final walk thru with you to ensure your satisfaction with the final product.
